Pigs and Wigs
It was 67 and sunny yesterday, so right after my east coast telecommute was done, I went for a wander.
I stared at the viaduct for a while and thought. Yep, it's ugly. Nothing profound, nothing political. It is ugly and should go.
Then, I found a puddle.

After the puddle and some failed pigeon shadow pictures, I went to Elliot Bay to listen to Sherry Boschert speak about her book, Plug-In Hybrids: The Cars That Will Recharge America . The talk was fine, a little too preachy for a room of supporters. However, she did remind me that I want to see the documentary Who Killed the Electric Car? If only to understand why they actually seized and crushed the electric cars that were in use in the mid 90s. I can't understand how this was legal.
Some photos from the walk home...

Apparently the pigs are returning. Warning, this website has a talking puppet with an annoying laugh.

Tyson is developing a series of doll heads. It would be great if you two could combine forces and stage a cafe show of prints this summer.

Wandering is good. I do a bit of it myself at times, though you seem to be a bit more organized about it, somehow.
As for the cars, the theoretical justification was that they always owned the cars, and they can destroy their own property. The drivers of the cars all were leasing. Sneaky, eh? That movie I'd say is worth seeing, though when it has you all depressed at the end, just remember that there is other work going on in that space, that they don't really talk about...
