I thing therefore I an

I have noticed a set of typos that seem to stem from phonetics or just a flipped brain. I know how to use these words, I know what they mean and I intend to use the correct one, but something happens. I’m not sure it’s comforting or scary that related things happen when I speak.

  • There, their and they are
  • To and do
  • My, me and mine
  • Non and not
  • Half and have
  • Then, than and them
  • Thing and think
  • Am and an
Please, please email me (see sidebar) if you notice these things. I won’t take offense, I will be totally grateful. Unless you post a comment telling me that I should be in remedial spelling. Or refer me to Strunk and White. Yes, an under the radar email is preferred.

  • Awesome title.

    One of my all-time favorite typos was when a fried of mine wrote to be about plans we had to go hiking, only he wrote "hinking". I don't know why that cracked me up so much, but I couldn't stop laughing for hours.
