Half Red, Half Blue
It’s been about four months. I stopped blogging and taking photographs around the same time. At the time I wasn’t sure why, and even now it’s not clear, but since I like theories and reasons – I’m going with this one.
When I started blogging, it was to share a crazy trip with friends and family, and when I returned it morphed into sharing my unemployed art class life. My greatest stress, glue decisions and the massive size of Photoshop files. Then I became single, started working again and moved. My home became my office; most of my friendships became Times New Roman and a hot right ear.
The loneliness shifted me somehow. I became acutely aware of what my online posts said about me to the new people that I was or was not meeting and to my old friends about the success or failure of my escape. Self conscious editing, slow fingers, and obsessive photo manipulation eventually slowed me to a stop.
Then my sister sewed me a cape and it all changed.

Wow! Surprise post! Welcome back.
You didn't specify whether your cape-bestowed powers would be used for good or evil. If you have a choice, go evil.

Evil of course.
I've developed a taste for sautéed squirrels.
Because eating squirrels is sooooo evil.
