Evil Breakfast
Two days ago, I went to the doctors to discuss my food allergy tests. He provided me a colorful two page bar chart that measured my reaction to probably 100 different foods including all dairy varieties, maybe a dozen fish, a column of vegetables, nuts a plenty….
First page, all tiny little bars indicating no reaction. Second page, more tiny little bars but then four massive ones. I giggled.
I’m allergic to eggs, bananas, pineapples and blueberries.
No more Pina Colada Fridays followed by a cheesy egg breakfast. Goodbye blueberry soup. And I’ve got four frozen bananas available for a baker or a smoothie maker.

How odd...so you've never had an allergic reaction to any of these things, but a test tells you you're allergic to them?
All my childhood years when I tried to tell my mom I was allergic to tomatoes, and for all either of us knows, I could have been!

I have had a reaction, but for many (many) years we had no idea what was causing it. Most doctors prescribed drugs. This one tested me.
Funny doctor, looking for the cause.

Eggs can be used as a foaming agent in beer! And to distill red wine! The doctor said it might take a few weeks to months, especially since it’s hard to find where egg might be hiding. I should check my toothpaste.
