On my way to work I listened to last weeks Wait Wait don't tell me - and they had Elmo and Kevin (his puppeteer). It was amusing - but mainly because you had to repeatedly remind yourself that you were listening to a grown man pretending to be a fuzzy red puppet.

They explained the new Elmo toy (he's extreme!) - and I couldn't imagine it. Apparently I missed all the news coverage.

Hate elmo, how about a German version of Extreme Ernie.
