Yeah. Try and rent or borrow. See if you can get a hold of the 20-35 mm canon L-- they don't make it any more but it gives great color and sharpness- especially when you start printing over 8x10. The advantage of these lenses is that they focus a ton faster-- great for people. I constantly switch AF on and off. Of course, you'll also need to shoot exclusively RAW to see the differences as well. I recommend also working in 16 bit mode too. But keep having fun too; don't get caught up in the technical stuff.

Nope, it's still the stock lens. Before I buy a new lens, I have to be able to see the difference in them. :)
Maybe I will try to rent some?
