Seattle Days

My sister did this drawing back when she lived in Seattle. As an evening of dancing in Dansko clogs left me wobbly, my days have been simple. Wake up, ice ankle, go to Top Pot and drink a latte with a foam leaf. Check in at work and read emails. Back to Angie’s, eat breakfast, ice ankle. Dink around. Back to the Top Pot late afternoon, drink peppermint tea.
Today, I decided to break from my two day routine and I went to the library near Angie’s place. The Capitol Hill branch has high ceilings, light colored wood, tons of windows, free wireless and in table plugs. It’s relatively quiet and almost sunny inside even though it’s raining grey outside. I like.
It’s a good time to catch up on a few Photoshop instructional videos. And to absorb the happy library vibes.
Tomorrow, we were supposed to go hiking in Olympic National Park. Maybe I will just sit on a tree and wait for gnomes.
