Assist

The slug was both company and an assistant for her sister yesterday. After dropping by the car dealer, we picked up a rental deer head. The rental place has two rooms full of taxidermy animals for rent including (but not limited to) a massive elephant, mice and some dogs, even a mounted dog head. We stopped by a film supply store, bought some expensive light bulbs and tape. Want to make a giant multi colored tape ball? I have your source, they even have teal.

I was allowed a brief nap that lasted about 2 hours. When I woke up, the main room was rearranged, cushions askew, lights everywhere. Then for the next several hours, we fiddled, fussed and panicked about lighting. We had to take stills for a stop motion sequence, so the lighting had to match the full size deer photographed last week.
